The collection comprises artefacts, pictures, photographs, postcards and documents, including an important collection of paintings and drawings by famous Leominster Victorian artist John Scarlett Davis.Housed in a victorian mission hall in Etnam street, Leominster. Red Kite Feeding Station. A little further out from Leominster over the border into Wales but well worth a family day out is the Red Kite Feeding Station. Mid Wales has the greatest density and diversity of birds of prey in southern Britain...Mid Wales was home to the last remaining Native Red Kites. Now, due to the hard work of the Conservation bodies here in Wales, Red Kites are once again in the ascendance. Acton Scott Historic Working Farm. Situated in the estate’s 18th century Home Farm buildings, Acton Scott’s Historic Working Farm is a wonderful visitor attraction for all the family to enjoy.  The Historic Working Farm offers a fascinating insight into rural life at the turn of the 19th century, as farm life unfolds daily and the land around is worked by heavy horses. There are daily demonstrations of period skills and visits from the Wheelwright, Farrier and Blacksmith, providing a picture of life as it might have been on a Victorian country estate.
