The Riverside Inn and Restaurant, built around 1580, is rich in original features and an atmosphere created by over 400 years of hospitality. It is situated along the banks of the River Lugg, at the very mid-point of the popular Mortimer Trail.Deep in the heart of the Herefordshire countryside on the southern edge of the Mortimer Forest, the Riverside Inn nestles cosily at the point where the western arm of the Roman Watling Street crosses the River Lugg. Rich in original features and an atmosphere created by over 300 years of hospitality, the inn welcomes all visitors to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the truly beautiful location.

Offers real ales from local breweries and delicious award-wining food, made from the finest home grown and locally sourced ingredients, together with a high level of en-suite accommodation, including spacious suites adjacent to the river itself.
