On the last weekend in August, Knighton Show and Carnival is a celebration of rural life in the upper Teme Valley in the grand old tradition.
 

A spectacular show of horticulture, floral and handifraft exhibitions, vintage cars, equine competitions, dog shows, loads for the kids and, of course, food!

The carnival procession, which takes place at noon and again in the evening is always a sight to behold and attracts visitors from across the area.

The 2009 show will be held on Saturday 29th August. Featured this year is Newtown Youth Marching Band and, of course our own Knighton Town Silver Band.
