Water colour by Michael Bowen, famous San Francisco Beat painter, who knew all the Beat poets and where he created the 'Summer of Love'. Painted in Maui when he lived there in 1982, and authenticated, with a note from the artist. He has lived and painted in Maui, Thailand, Mexico, US, Sweden and Britain.

This painting, and all his others, are increasing in value year on year and will continue to as his role in the seminal sixties activism and artistic explosion becomes better known.
